The Presence of Possibility

There are possibilities the heart makes room for — before life gives them a name.

We do not always know what awakens that openness.

Perhaps it is a moment of unexpected tenderness, a conversation that lingers, or the simple realization that there is still so much of life we have yet to experience.

Sometimes we sense something missing, not because our lives are incomplete, but because we recognize how much more there is to share.

And perhaps that is where possibility begins.

Not searching for someone to fill the emptiness, but in discovering that the life we have created has room for another.

There is a difference between longing and waiting.

Longing can remind us that our hearts are still capable of reaching beyond what we know.

Waiting can become a place where we forget to live.

We do not put our lives on hold for love.

We leave room for it.

We continue to grow, to discover, to follow the paths that call to us. And somewhere, perhaps another soul is doing the same.

Neither knowing when or even whether, those paths will meet.

Yet there is something beautiful in allowing that possibility to exist without demanding its arrival.

For somewhere between what is and what has yet to be, possibility is already breathing.

And perhaps that, too, is love.
