Before we begin,
let us center ourselves.
Take a deep breath in …
and let it out.
Today we pause
to honors fathers
and all those who have offered
guidance,
encouragement,
and support along our path.
Our scripture today reminds us :
”The righteous walk in integrity;
happy are the children who follow them.”
Proverbs 20:7
Righteousness is not about
perfection.
It is about alignment.
It is the willingness
to walk in harmony with
Divine Truth.
It is the courage
to walk honestly.
To stand in what is true.
To keep returning to love
when fear would have us wander.
When we walk in alignment with Divine Truth,
the life that follows is blessed.
Our words become kinder.
Our choices become clearer.
Our relationships become stronger.
And those who walk beside us,
and after us,
are touched by the love we share.
Let us hold these words in our hearts :
I am held by grace,
guided by wisdom,
and grounded by love.
And in the quiet of this moment,
we might wonder :
Where is life calling me
to live more fully from my truth?
What example am I leaving
through the way I walk in the world?
And how might I return to love
when fear would have me turn away?
Together, let us affirm :
I walk in integrity.
I trust the wisdom of Divine Truth.
I return to love again and again.
May my life be a blessing
to those who walk beside me
and those who follow after.
And so it is.
