What If

Sometimes we approach this question
as something to solve.

To define.
To finally get right.

We gather answers.
We shape identities.
We try to become certain.

But what if the question
is not asking for an answer at all?

What if it is inviting a return.

A quiet turning inward
where nothing needs to be added
and nothing needs to be proven.

The mind may keep searching,
rearranging,
trying to make meaning.

And yet, beneath all of that —
something steady remains.

Not constructed.
Not earned.

Already here.
