Only Sophia Knows

pain runs deep —
in bone,
in breath,
in soul.

it grips me
as my shadow grows.

empty space,
a hollow sound;
loneliness —
my only ground.

they say:
you’re all alone.

a path unclear,
as the storms draw near.

the surf is high,
the ocean wide.
the truth i see —
i cannot hide.

no turning back —
the path still glows.

tomorrow whispers …
only Sophia knows.

Reflection

Sophia does not calm the storm; she walks beside us as it gathers. She is the quiet hand within the hollow sound, the stillness that steadies us when the path dissolves.

Wisdom rarely thunders. It arrives as a whisper — reminding us that what is unclear need not be feared, and what is hidden still belongs to the light.

To follow Sophia is not to flee pain but to learn from it. Even the shadows are folded into her knowing.

Tomorrow does not promise clarity, only invitation — toward trust, toward the faint glow that remains.

Only Sophia knows, and in her knowing, we are never alone.

I invite you to read the poem again.
