The Cost of Knowing

Reflection

Moment of Reckoning

The light did not make things easier.

It revealed what could no longer be unseen.

What once felt like belonging
no longer holds in the same way.

What once comforted
no longer fits.

There is grief in this.

Not because something true was lost,
but because something false
can no longer be lived.

And still,
something deeper remains.

A quiet knowing
that truth does not need to be forced.

Only lived.

So we walk —
not certain,
not finished,

but faithful
to what we have seen.

even when others
cannot yet see it.
