no more tears

i have no more tears

oh mama why

dear one
i won’t let them flow
because i will have to let go

oh mama, please
please grieve for me
and set yourself free

oh my child
there is no need to grieve
we both are free

so find your way
please don’t stay

there is no need to fear
i am standing near

with a mother’s light
so please take flight

go … grow
we both know

it is the only way
please don’t stay

until then
you will know when

we will meet again
and again

so dear one
i have no more tears
because i have no more fears

i believe in you
this is … oh … so true

——

When I go out into the night air and look at the moon … I see a loving mom wrapping her arms around me, comforting me and shinning a light on my path. Even when I don’t see her, I know she is there.

We are all children of a loving parent.

And this is a poem from a mother’s heart, for only a mother knows the journey to the soul and a journey she can not partake.  Her children have to walk through their own deserts alone. All a mother has is her unconditional love and everlasting light to shine on their path … soon they will see the divine within, the source of their strength, welcoming them home.

Be the light

Few of us are satisfied with retreating from the world and just working on ourselves. We want our training to manifest and be of benefit. The bodhisattva-warrior, therefore, makes a vow to wake up not just for himself but for the welfare of all beings. – Pema Chodron

There is a lot of wisdom in this quote.

Though I am not a bodhisattva-warrior … a wise friend shared that we all have our own paths to walk and we do.

The most compassionate thing we can offer each other is finding that peace within so that our light spreads out touching others.

The chaos of life feeds on chaos, like a never-ending thrashing dark storm whereas the light of peace is like a flowing river allowing life to flourish and thrive.

‘Be the light’ … I know many who know me are laughing now.

However, isn’t it true that when we are at peace ourselves, life is like that flowing river nourishing all on its banks?

Interesting how that is.
